Basic Kids Hat

Basic Kid’s Hat          Knit in the Round        Designed by Melissa Seitzer     Supplies 1 ball Encore Chunky 1 size 10 – 16” circular needle 1 stitch marker 1 large eye blunt needle (to sew top of hat)         Cast on 60 sts , place marker and join in the round.   *K2, P2* all the way around until you have 1” of ribbing.   Switch to knitting every row until hat measures 7” from cast on edge.   Bind off.   Sew top of hat together straight across.   Add tassel, pom-poms or braids to each corner to finish.      www.maryluesyarn.com
